This morning’s walk was quite a short one as the rain was very heavy and neither of us were very keen on getting wet. But today at lunchtime, the sun came out and we went to the park. It is very windy here today though (Met Office weather warnings, @heatheralex says) so we didn’t spend as much time in the trees and up on the hill as we usually do. You can see why from the pictures…
The rain has created some nice new puddles for me to splash in…
Some of them are quite big too:
But even better, there are LOADS more twigs for me to chew:
Not that I am always allowed to get hold of them but…
All in all, a good walk in the park today …
PS By the way, if you think it is a bit odd that I love splashing in puddles and getting wet, but do NOT love going out in the rain, hey, whoever said we had to be consistent??!
I’m with you on that one… I love puddles and streams and ponds and lakes and bogs… ah, such happy thoughts… but I don’t like going out in the rain either. It’s just different and not nice when it falls down from the sky.
Puddles are an adventure…rain is just a pain in the tail! It looks like you had quite a wonderful time!
